I went to the hospital and was 2cm & 50% effaced?

I had my 36 week appointment yesterday and the doc said i was 2dm and 50% effaced. I work 3 12 hour shifts at a childrens hospital so i am on my feet all day long when I work. When i am at work i tend to feel a litle crampy and sometimes have these random pains in my vagina. I have alot of white mucues discharge but I have not noticed my mucus plug coming out yet? Do you guys think I will be a little early, or will i go pass my due date? Oh , and the baby is weighing around 2 pounds!
