Shooting events as part time job. How do I go about making PhotoBooks?

I'm trying to get a job and since I enjoy taking pictures, I figured that I could earn a little by shooting events. I know that I can charge for the photo CD (which can be used by the person in whichever manner they wish), but only question is.. how do I go about providing a photo album as well? I know that there are websites that allow you to purchase those books, but would it be legal to sell them to others? I know that for my sweet sixteen I paid for my leather photobook, I just don't know how the photographer was able to provide that
