What's this childrens movie?!?!?

I hope that you all could tell me what this movie was!....I remember like I think 1 or 2 girls live like on a farm and theirs this tree and it takes them to another world with like fairys or something. And I remeber they had this war type thing against the good bugs/fairys and I think their was a grandmother in it. I'm sorry I don't know much about it but please help!...I know it's not...fern and gully, tinker bell, ant bully or alice in wonderland...I think it came out in the 90s! please help!..thanks!!!
